YouTube is an amazing platform that has become the go-to source for music discovery, movie trailers, and any other content you may have found on the internet. It's also a fantastic resource for finding money online. If it was so easy to make money through your favorite websites it wouldn't be such a dream would it? To answer this question I'd like to tell you about one of my favorite platforms, YOUTUBE. Thanks to YouTube over the years people have earned millions of dollars making videos. Nowadays they offer some wonderful opportunities to start earning money, but you should not ever quit! This post is going to show you everything you need to know regarding YouTube and hopefully help provide you with tips on how to earn more than what you thought was possible.
First off, YouTube is free. As we've mentioned before it can be very difficult to monetize anything on YouTube as there are no ads, and there are huge numbers of users out there who don't use their real name. But for anyone who wants to cash out their earnings they will have to invest in subscriptions or paid downloads which are great once you reach a certain level of popularity. Once you have successfully gained 30k views or a million subscribers YouTube has two ways to support you. Firstly they can give you access to special offers and discounts if they deem that you're an affiliate partner. And secondly, they can send you direct payments via PayPal if you choose to stay with them! And if someone does ask, they often provide you with the option to receive funds immediately and even let you keep all the money in your bank account.
That way you do have something tangible that you can put into your business. Let me show you some examples of how YouTube handles its partners. If you're an athlete then they'll often provide you with marketing opportunities for doing this. They've even signed up athletes for events for example live events. The only downside to all these is that when that event starts I can guarantee that they'll be taking away from all of their revenue. But for anyone else, they provide various contests and challenges where winners win awesome prizes. 2. Don't create your own content.
Creating videos is one of the best ways to generate income as many people enjoy sharing their experiences and opinions to express themselves. However, if you want to start getting serious about making money with YouTube, stop creating your own content. While in most cases, you may think and feel confident in your ability to create awesome videos, it is incredibly hard to scale them. There is a massive opportunity on the internet right now to create video content. Create your brand story and share it. Do not invest in creating your own channels and then later try to sell them when they fail to produce any revenues. When it comes to generating income online different platforms allow you to have control over your channel. Some include IGTV, Tik Tok with Vimeo, Amazon Prime Video, etc. YouTube doesn't. These platforms allow you to upload new, original content to their platforms so they're much better than your average website. Another thing to note is that some creators can lose their audience by creating too much content and they also lose the trust that they built. To avoid this, you have to create quality, well-written content that is engaging and gets people talking.
But also be aware that because YouTube is very forgiving of mistakes in their algorithm and allows new creators to upload their content to their network, they won't always find viewers. Hence creating and uploading your own personal videos as well as providing other resources such as Instagram, Pinterest, Spotify, eBay, Snapchat, or Facebook groups. Also, they have rules for which videos are allowed to be uploaded. Most of these have strict guidelines and if they are found breaking these guidelines there will be drastic penalties.
3. Start as an individual and don't join larger social networks.
There are tons of individuals who have achieved success in life making thousands of dollars per month by investing their trust in their knowledge and skills. Although social media has made a big part of our lives it's hard for people to distinguish between those who are genuine and professionals in their field. You can find yourself spending hours each day in search of information or product that you might not know, and it could end up costing you hundreds of pounds to learn. To counter this I recommend that you avoid platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook and instead seek information from trusted guides or experts. Social networks like Facebook are a good place to connect with your friends and family but unfortunately, they don't take into consideration how important you are to others making your profile look perfect.
By connecting via social media you will see yourself appearing within photos of those who enjoy looking at pictures of yours and you'll feel bad regarding your appearance and reputation. I personally feel that it's easier to make money from social media because everyone knows who owns your page so you know who follows you and likes your posts. Social networks may or may not provide you with an advertisement for your products or services as it’s owned by corporations. Just knowing that what you have sells you into becoming profitable and you only have to pay a small percentage of the price you make.
4. Follow reputable brands.
You can never understand a person's real personality through reading a series of tweets and comments they make in reply. After reading countless reviews and seeing thousands of faces, you can never guess what people want to hear. Instead, it's better to rely on the brands that you love which makes you follow them. Many people love listening to their recommendations on various topics but sometimes they're wrong it's important to listen to trustworthy sources of advice especially when buying things online. Brands tend to make more money by offering discounted deals to their followers this gives fans more chances of being referred to. On top of the fact that their customer service is excellent makes their money go faster and quicker since they need to maintain a high standard of customer service while promoting the item or service. Always do your research before buying something that you do not feel comfortable about!
5. Sell merchandise
Selling products online is simple but it takes you out of the comfort of your homes which can be lonely and depressing but that's why you have to stick to businesses. Merchandise sales are similar to selling online, you pay a commission and you get a final reward in return. Sourcing a list of products that you feel would be suitable for your customers who buy products online. An example of how you can profit from merchandise sales is by using Etsy. You'll find lots of sellers with thousands of active buyers. Similar to items bought online you need to pick your niche and niche-based shop and this will ensure that your buyers know about what you have and what you’re selling. Using Instagram, Yelp, or Google Maps can aid the seller with finding new buyers and this will drive them towards you and you can charge them a higher than typical commission fee which can add extra profits back onto your earnings.
Being an experienced seller will be able to set you apart quickly as you only need to focus on the process of selling and delivering your product. Selling online can be extremely lucrative but before you commit to it I highly suggest that you try to start small and start building relationships with companies that deal with clients who buy products online. Make sure you only give out your contact details for companies that promote you and provide you with referrals so you never reveal your identity and the company will only refer you back to them again. With that said you should never do research before handing out your contact information so if you're unsure that the company you're working with is trustworthy and reliable. The main reason behind this is to remain anonymous and protect yourself from any scams or criminals who may wish to harm you.
6. Sign up to Fiverr.com
Fiverr is also yet another great platform for making money online. It’s a marketplace of sorts where anyone can find jobs, work from home gigs, side jobs, or whatever services they need to complete their projects. As it’s an open and anonymous site the potential to make money quickly is endless, so you can sign up for it today! First off, it’s great for freelancing with jobs that are a combination of tasks that require both manual dexterity and technical skill. But the biggest advantage of Fiverr is that no one really cares about looking after you and you don’t need to meet up with anyone. All you need is an email address and username which allows you to create a link between your emails and the work that needs to be done. Fiverr is quite secure for you as most security systems are secured by Fiverr itself and your account is linked to multiple businesses and government organizations so you can be safe in the knowledge that this isn't the case. The payment security isn't as robust as conventional freelance sites, however as you don't have to trust your payments to a third party, and Fiverr does take the risk on your behalf. This is a great option for those who are starting out freelancing but don't worry you have plenty of other options as well.
7. Use Medium and LinkedIn
